This wonderfully well-balanced miniature specimen from Müsen, Siegerland, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany features a single 1.2 cm long individual crystal of Anglesite in porous iron-rich gossan containing residual primary Galena. The orthorhombic Anglesite crystal sits prominently for display and is glassy and bright with an orange-brown internal colour with zonation. Although well-formed Anglesite crystals are known from Müsen, they are rarely seen in collections, and this one presents extremely well.
