A saddle-shaped, V-section, greenish metamorphic matrix, similar to a tight recumbent fold, is encrusted on both its outer and inner faces with glassy chrome to leaf green Diopside crystals overlaid by numerous clusters of octahedral Magnetite crystals with a bright metallic lustre. This fine specimen is from the Nordmark Odal Field in Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden and is capped with a 2.5 x 2.0 cm area of clustered, intergrown platy Clinochlore crystals. This terrific miniature is accompanied by two very old labels, both in excellent condition.\n
