Light powder blue to colourless botryoidal druses and well-formed Hemimorphite crystals richly cover the display face over a Chalcopyrite and Quartz veinlet from the Roughton Gill area of the Caldbeck Fells in Cumbria. Please note this specimen has been repaired across one end where a fracture split the specimen into two pieces. The repair has been done very sympathetically and appears just as a deep crack across the specimen. The crack is a natural feature as it contains undamaged sprays of crystallised acicular blue Hemimorphite. This specimen is accompanied with a Shields & Frances Flynn label and a much earlier, hand written label.
