A loose gemmy colorless crystal of quartz, this hosting a spray of gemmy pink topaz crystals to 0.3 cm in length. Minimal micro-damage present.Brumado, located in the interior of Bahia, Brazil, is a world-renowned mineralogical and mining hub with a history deeply rooted in magnesite, talc, and gemstone extraction dating back to the early and mid-twentieth century. Geologically, the region is situated within the Sao Francisco Craton, where intense metamorphic and hydrothermal alteration of ancient magnesian-rich carbonate rocks and pegmatitic fluids created highly specialized chemical environments. This unique setting has made Brumado legendary among global mineral collectors for producing magnificent specimens of rare and beautifully crystallized mineral species.
