We are proud to present this special lot of two pieces together: a very large single crystal from the famous NC emerald mines; and a very large authentic North Carolina cut emerald gem. The gem is 40.04 cts and 24.33 x 18.73 x 10.30 mm. The crystal is huge, for what it is: 110.0 x 27.0 x 24.1 mm in size - a Cabinet specimen on its own! The color is pale pastel green, but it is nevertheless a major, large, USA-origin emerald with (miraculously) no repairs or restoration! Taken together, this is a rare set with large items, suitable for a museum exhibition or USA collection focused on large USA gems. For the gem please note: GIA Report #: 6224192964 - report says clarity enhanced F2 (moderate clarity enhancement as is typical with nearly all emeralds). We obtained this from the estate of a collector in NC who bought both of these from Jamie King Hill, Jr., who was an owner of the North American Emerald Mine.
