A handsome miniature of classic Nentsberry Haggs mine Barytocalcite displaying an array of bladed crystals to around 1.5 cm finely coated with white Baryte on an altered Limestone matrix. The accompanying Lindsay Greenbank Collection label (No. L.G. 275) states the specimen was collected in 1967 from the 2nd Sun Vein, Admiralty Flats, by miner Eric Bowman and is ex. the collection of a Mrs Dixon of Alston. A choice and sharply crystallised Barytocalcite from Nentsberry Haggs Mine, Alston Moor, Cumbria.
