Cuprite (var. chalcotrichite) with calcite, dolomite and cerussite, 7.5 cm, from the Tsumeb mine, Oshikoto region, Namibia. This was specimen number 806 in the collection of Wilhelm Klein, production manager at Tsumeb between 1916 and 1939. His collection catalog (preserved at Harvard University) confirms that the specimen was collected from the 12 Level, in the first oxidation zone.
