A superb specimen of Chalcotrichite from one of Cornwall's best known locations for this variety of Cuprite. Inter-grown networks of bright red acicular Chalcotrichite crystals extensively cover two sides of white Quartz veined through by a brown Goethite matrix. Clusters of Chalcotrichite are dotted over other areas of the specimen. The large miniature is housed in a museum-type black card box pull-off lid with inset glass top; this old box is in very good condition.
