Aquamarine, Muscovite
Aquamarine on muscovite, 19 cm, from the new workings on Mt. Xuebaoding near Pingwu Village, Sichuan Province, China. This unusual specimen was found in a small pocket in 2013, along with only one other. It is quite different from the usual Xuebaoding habit. Purchased from a collector in China in 2019 through young dealer Zhang Jingnan. Photo by Beth Van Allen.
