A jewel-like cluster of gem bright, sparkling apophyllites, approx. 5.5 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm in size, sits perched perfectly atop an unusually contrasting matrix of strangle orange calcite, accented by a white stilbite crystal. We see a lot of apophyllite and frankly, ignore most of it. It is common, yes. But, not like this! This is a 360-degree, complete, beautiful specimen with the best possible placement of the "crown" of mint-green sparkle, right atop. The matrix is also unusual, so overall the piece stands out. This was seemingly a one-off from a strange pocket of 2024.
