Recent gemstone trade mining at this old location which produced several times only in the last 50-60 years has provided a renewed chance for us crystal collectors to obtain one, when they are saved (in these cases, by a mining engineer there). The location has produced, by order of magnitude, best of species examples of this gem species compared to anywhere else in the world. This is a sharp, robust twinned crystal, with dramatic form, luster, and color. They stand out from any other twinned crystallized gemstone species, dramatically,in a case. The color is hard to convey so this is better in person. Complete all around with superb terminations, except only a small secondary crystal in back-right which seems to be missing a termination (behind one of the twins).
