Description
Perfect axinite crystal lying on a matrix covered in albite & quartz. The Armentier area is known to produce some of the finest axinites in the world.
The luster and color are pretty typical of this locality. A very small quartz crystal is intergrowth with the axinite blade but the specimen is damageless.
