An excellent, highly lustrous, metallic, layered and somewhat fanned-out Hematite miniature from Ouro Preto, Brazil. A series of larger, parallel growth Hematite crystals to 4.2 cm dominate this attractive piece along with two other smaller 2.5 cm sets of parallel grouped, slightly concave crystals at the front bottom half; for a great presentation. The edges of the Hematites display a satin luster as most of these do. This is a showy, well composed miniature with only minimal peripheral damage.
