A substantial crystal of Phosgenite from the Monteponi mine in Sardinia, Italy, with an old Arthur Kusche of Munich pre-1824? Label. Areas of the Phosgenite crystal are gemmy to a translucent pastel brown with a fine lustre to the faces and a boot-like appearance to the specimen. The Phosgenite is formed on a compacted granular crystalline Cerussite matrix. A classic old-time specimen of Phosgenite from Monteponi.
