Fluorapatite with Quartz Schorl and Muscovite on Orthoclase$1,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A beautiful small miniature from the ancient mine at Stenna Gwyn, St. Stephen-in-Brannel, close to St Austell in Cornwall. This historic mine closed around 1804 and although so famous, specimens are now very rare. A gemmy, pale bluish-green hexagonal Fluorapatite crystal is nicely perched on top of two well terminated Orthoclase crystals, themselves coated with crystallised Muscovite mica. To one side, some pale smoky Quartz crystals, shot through with black Schorl Tourmaline, complete this classic Cornish combination.
