Lustrous wine-red single classic crystal of this famous Alpine type garnet, well known from Pakistan but not in truly fine thumbnail crystals. Most are representative but not special. Unlike most, this shows perfect symmetry and is a trapezohedral floater crystal that is complete all around! No etching or crackling of the surface, as is common in these.
