Pyromorphite, often referred to as the “fire-like mineral,” is a captivating and visually striking gemstone renowned for its vibrant and intense colors. Derived from the Greek words “pyr” meaning fire and “morphe” meaning form. Pyromorphite perfectly embodies the mesmerizing essence of flickering flames frozen in mineral form. As a perfect floater this piece is absolutely stunning. The shape of it is a green flame, mechanically built from well defined hexagonal prisms! The crystals are translucent to even transparent in some parts, are sharp and all complete without any flaws! The Yangshuo Mine has produced some of the finest Pyromorphite specimens the world has ever seen and this specimen is a great example for the superb quality of this famous locale!
