Attractive lustrous Apple green crystals of pyromorphite to 0.3 cm in size nice across the front of matrix. In good condition.
Situated in the Khenifra Region within Morocco's Middle Atlas belt, the Bou Iboulkhir Mine lies in a geologically rich vein domain characterized by hydrothermal mineral deposits hosted within altered sedimentary and igneous formations. Historically worked as an lead-zinc mining operation, the site has gained international fame among mineral collectors for producing exceptional pyromorphite specimens. Small-scale mining and collecting efforts at Bou Iboulkhir have yielded vivid yellow-green to olive-green pyromorphite crystals, often featuring sharp hexagonal prisms, lustrous surfaces, and intricate skeletal growth patterns on matrix.
