A porous, spongey-textured Quartz matrix is liberally coated in glossy, sulphur-yellow small Pyromorphite crystals with small areas of unidentified black manganese oxides. There is some minor bruising to the small Pyromorphite crystals but their colour really makes them stand out well for display. Ex Malcolm Southwood Collection, no. MS 1999.033, it was collected in May 1996 from the Mexico mine section of Roughton Gill and was in the Ron Linfield Collection (no. 593).
