This is a superb display specimen of the classic arrow-head habit crystals of Marcasite from the famous chalk cliffs of Cap Blanc-Nez near Calais in northern France. Free from matrix, this cabinet-sized aggregate of Marcasite forms a branching specimen of twinned crystals with a fine light metallic yellow colour. It really is a beauty, showing how remarkable crystal forms can be. Stunning!
