An excellent, single, dark grey, sharply formed bipyramidal crystal of Scheelite measuring 1 cm in length sits perfectly for display at the top edge of a crystalline white Dolomite-lined cavity with metallic yellow Chalcopyrite and some minor Galena around the outer edges. It might not be as large as some other worldwide Scheelite crystals, but its appearance and its association are classic Baia Sprie (Felsöbánya), in Romania and make for a lovely classic Eastern European display piece.
