Large lustrous sharp crystals of grossular with little matrix. The specimen comes with a previous label from Ward's Natural Science Establishment. In good condition.Ward's Natural Science Establishment, founded in 1862 by Henry Augustus Ward in Rochester, New York, grew to become a premier supplier of geological, paleontological, and biological specimens for museums, universities, and researchers worldwide. Henry Ward utilized his extensive global travels to collect and trade geological specimens, meteorites, and fossils, helping to stock many of North America's major public natural history museums during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
