Sulfur
Sulfur crystals to 3 cm on matrix from Cianciana, Agrigento, Sicily, Italy. The specimen turns out to have been “assembled” or repaired, as the orientation of the main crystal was different in the image in Gratacap’s Popular Guide to Minerals (1912). Ex Clarence Bement Collection (1901); Arthur Singer photo, AMNH Photo Studio.
