Scheelite gemstone, 5 cm (385 carats), from the Mt. Xueboading beryl mine, Pingwu, Sichuan Province, China. This stone, cut by Art Grant in 1998 from rough mined in the 1990s, is thought to be the largest known scheelite gem from the locality. Ex Daniel Trinchillo collection; Joe Budd photo.
