Smithsonite from Greece, Attica, Lavrion Mining District, Sounion mine no. 6, Lavrion

Rich and excellent smithsonite specimen from Lavrion with lustrous and gemmy, apple-green smithsonite, associated with contrasting white calcite and blue aurichalcite. A good amount of the smithsonite’s surface is covered with tiny crystal clusters of colorless hemimorphite. From my personal collection, #211.
