Quartz on Agate pseudomorph after Aragonite – Rancho Coyamito, Chihuahua, Mexico

One of only two specimens recovered from this pocket. This piece shows outstanding aesthetics — clear quartz crystals with a subtle lilac hue that could easily be mistaken for amethyst. Beneath the quartz lies a beautiful purple agate, creating a perfect harmony of color and texture. When light hits, the sparkling druze comes alive. A completely unique hybrid between a banded agate and a mineral specimen — and truly one of our favorite pieces.
