Morganite from USA, California, San Diego County, Pala Mining District, Pala, Tourmaline Queen Mount

Peach colored Morganite crystal on a matrix of Lepidolite, Tourmaline and Albite. Recovered about 1973-1974. Tourmaline Queen Mine, San Diego County, California, United States. From the John Barlow Collection (#0445) and Fisher/Kureczka Collections and it was also featured in the "Blue Cap Tourmaline" case at the 2008 Tucson Gem & Mineral Show for American Mineral Treasures Exhibit.
