"X Marks the Spot" – Quartz on Agate Pseudomorph after Aragonite / Coyamito Ranch Chihuahua Mexico
This specimen is extraordinary not only for its striking aesthetics but also for its rarity as a true hybrid between agate and mineral specimen. Discovered just 3 years ago, only two pieces emerged from this pocket, making it an exceptionally limited find.
Beneath the sparkling quartz lies a layer of purple agate, with three snow-capped terminations aligned perfectly in a straight line — as though nature had used a water level to form them. The quartz is further enhanced by scattered goethite inclusions, adding depth and contrast.
By far one of the most remarkable discoveries in my collection, this piece stands out as a masterpiece of its species — a unique natural sculpture that represents the pinnacle of beauty and geological wonder. I’m exited to share it with you.
