Quartz from Cabiche, Boyacá Department, Colombia

Expressive in form and structure

This example of mango quartz is characterised by a combination of delicate and prominent points. Several small, delicate crystals stand in harmonious contrast to the larger, massive points, which are particularly eye-catching. The bold colouring and elegant arrangement of the crystals give this piece a special radiance that immediately stands out in any mineral collection.
