Wire transfers available, to set up
Guimarãesite is an extremely rare calcium beryllium zinc phosphate hydroxide hydrate described in 2007 from an occurrence in Piauí valley, Taquaral, Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Ponte do Piauí claim, just 700 metres away in Piauí valley, is the second world occurrence and is where this specimen is from. It comprises a single 7 cm tall slightly milky Quartz crystal - the Guimarãesite occurring as dark brown 1 to 2 mm diameter rounded crystal aggregates clustered upon the surface of the Quartz crystal at its base. It comes from the remarkably comprehensive systematic collection assembled by brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 & 1956-2021).
