Traces of cobalt gives calcite great pinkish colour. Congo is the producer of best cobaltoan calcites in the world. High quality cluster of terminated crystals up to 1 cm in size with magenta-fuchsia-pink colour and bright glassy lustre. Crystals are siting individually on matrix formed by calcite, kolwezite and malachite.
