A rich 1.2 x 0.7 cm patch of metallic buttery-silver Calaverite invests a small sliver of milky Quartz from the gold mining district in Kalgoorlie-Boulder Shire in Western Australia. Calaverite is a gold telluride (AuTe2) and forms a granular to platy mass on and in the Quartz.
