Chrysocolla with Malachite$150.00

We only have Cornwall as the locality for this miniature Chrysocolla with Malachite but are fairly certain it is from the Lizard Peninsula and likely from one of the quarries on Goonhilly Downs. The entire specimen is mostly Chrysocolla, of mid to deep leaf greens intermixed with patches of light peppermint green. A dark bottle green patch of botryoidal Malachite nestles in the centre and the entire specimen has a slightly waxy texture and feel. This specimen is accompanied with two earlier labels, one a collector and one a London dealer.
