Tucson, Arizona, USAA vertical rib of massive grey-silver Tennantite forms a central core over which are developed excellent regular tetragonal crystals of sooty-grey Tennantite, typically of between 1 to 1.5 cm on edge. The tetrahedrons exhibit modified edges and are intergrown to form an almost complete coverage of crystals. From the Tsumeb Mine in the Otjikoto Region of Namibia, any remaining gaps between the crystals are infilled with micro Quartz and Pyrite crystals covering the Tennantite core. A terrific example of well crystallised Tennantite from Tsumeb.
