This is an extremely fine gemmy pale pink Beryl var. Morganite from the Elizabeth R. mine, Chief Mountain, Pala, San Diego County, California. It is very well formed, exhibiting sharp crystal faces, and classic 'tabular' Morganite form, in association with a dark red-brown bladed Columbite on the reverse and a scattering of green Muscovite. Ex Jesse Fisher and Joan Kureczka collection.
