Source volume: 51, issue: 5, PDF page: 94. Label: Figure 52. Calcite on limestone, 49.5 cm, from the Elmwood mine near Carthage, Smith County, Tennes-see. Discovered in 1969, the Elmwood deposit went into full production in 1975. Calcite, fluorite, barite and sphalerite crystals occur on fragments of collapse breccia in large pockets (see Kearns and Campbell, 1978).
