A stout, well-formed, yellow, hexagonal prismatic crystal of Milarite is neatly perched on a matrix of Muscovite and Albite. This is a significant crystal for the species. The Milarite measures 2.5 cm in length and 1.2 cm across and is perfectly terminated on one end. The other end is also nicely terminated and displays slight skeletal growth which is very unusual for the species. Milarite is a complex potassium-calcium-aluminum-beryllium silicate and the Jaguaracu Pegmatite in Brazil has produced some of the world's finest specimens. This is an exceptional miniature! An old piece, sold by Ken Roberts many years ago, and one of the few aesthetic display miniatures we have seen on the market.
