Description
A fine specimen of classic, light blue baryte prisms on sugary calcite from the Sterling Mine of Colorado. The large water-clear, windowpane with nice beveled edges measures 2.2 x 1.7 cm. Baryte has been known from this classic Colorado locale since the 1870s and this specimen probably dates from the 1970s to mid-1980s collecting efforts. Highly representative of the locality.
