There are actually THREE Japan Law twins on this cabinet-sized specimen from the Daye Mine in China! The largest of them has a "wingspan" of 6 cm. They are set on a broad plate of massive quartz with prismatic crystals around the twins. Japan Law Twins from this mine are NOT common on the market, and this one is pretty darned major! All three twins are in fine shape - there is only one extremely small nick at the top of one of them. The Daye Mine has been producing a broad array of collector-quality specimens of various minerals for some time now but good twins remain rare.
