Powellite is perhaps the most rare and desired of the more uncommon members of India's mineral suite, and this is a massively impressive display specimen with a huge 5-cm-tall crystal perched in a nest of beautiful ivory colored stilbite crystals. The crystals of powellite from this pocket, which only produced a handful of specimens in the end of 2019, are remarkable: fine, lustrous and translucent, golden crystals of powellite. This was the largest of the pocket, measuring 5 cm in length. The powellite crystal fluoresces a bright yellow. The photos speak for themselves, and yet it is better in person as the rich color and gemminess is hard to convey at the same time.
