We get to see a good variety of minerals from Yaogangxian mine in Hunan Province, China and this Arsenopyrite with Quartz is a charming miniature with the added bonus of purple Fluorite! A 3.5 x 3.0 x 1.9 cm mass of well crystallised Arsenopyrite is attached at one side to a 3.5 cm long, milky grey, double terminated Quartz crystal. At first glance the base appears to be broken, but close examination shows this to be a naturally healed end, covered in tiny recrystallised terminations.
