A showy, 1.8 x 0.3 cm terminated Rhodonite crystal laying flat and half embedded in a small matrix of bright silver cryptocrystalline Galena. This terrific large thumbnail specimen is from North mine at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia and is a great example of this highly unusual association. One or two smaller Rhodonite crystals and many part-crystals are disseminated throughout the surface of the Galena, making for a most attractive specimen.
