A grouping of thin orange beautiful glassy gem wulfenite crystals 1.3 x 1.0 x 0 point who centimeter in size are set on matrix. Needlelike colorless crystals of micro willemite are mostly covering this matrix on all sides. Colorless crystallized gypsum present as well. In very good condition. The specimen comes with a previous label from the collection of Ray DeMark. Geologically, the mine consists of replacement deposits formed within Cretaceous limestone, where hydrothermal activity and subsequent oxidation led to rich secondary mineral zones. It is globally famous for producing world-class wulfenite specimens, characterized by thick, tabular, highly lustrous crystals with vibrant orange, yellow, and brown hues.
