Pyrite from Spain, La Rioja, Navajún

53 cubes

Mirror-bright, brassy Pyrite cubes are stacked aesthetically in this vertical grouping from this classic Spanish locality. These interconnected cubes range in size from 1.0 to 4.9 cm and have razor-sharp edges and brilliant crystal faces. These serve as inspirational reminders that crystals are large-scale representations of the small building blocks of nature, in this case, the perfect cube. A particularly nice cluster, these are always classics and also impress the public to ask the question, "are these carved by man or made by nature?" This specimen is repaired, but a stunning one-of-a-kind example.
