Mimetite

Philipsbornite with Mimetite… A SPECIAL FIND FROM THE CONGO… AND WHAT A COMBINATION.

This 4.2 cm stunner features an incredible combination of Mimetite on Philipsbornite from Yanga Koubenza, Republic of the Congo.

The color contrast is what makes this piece hit so hard—the electric blue Philipsbornite creating an almost unreal backdrop, scattered with vibrant yellow-green Mimetite crystals across the surface. The texture, sparkle, and saturation packed into just 4.2 cm are next level.

Small specimen. Massive presence.

These are the finds that keep the hunt exciting—unusual mineral combinations, wild natural color, and something completely different from anything else in the cabinet. Earth’s art at its finest.
