Fluorite from Germany, Saxony, Halsbrücke, Beihilfe Mine

I quite love the deep blue zoning that gives way to a yellow core when the light hits it, and can you notice the terracing? What could cause that?

This has officially taken its rightful place as the new centerpiece of my German Fluorite suite. I couldn't be happier with the classic cubic habit and the history behind this Halsbrücke locality.
