Here we have a stunning golden calcite specimen from the Butterfly Twin Pocket collected in the late 1980s at the Malmberget Mine in Sweden. It is important to remember that the Malmberget Mine is one of the largest iron mines in the world and still actively operating. The area these specimens were collected in has been inaccessible for more than 30 years.
