Dimensions: 1.8 x 1.5cm Location: Paprok, Kamdesh District, Nuristan, Afghanistan Highly sought after, Morganite (variety of Beryl) is difficult to obtain, few deposits, crystals often poorly formed, not complete or cleaved. This superb association of Morganite/tourmaline gemstone in thumbnail is remarkable. Sample from our personal collection. Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to the base (soft putty).
