Chabazite from Canada, Nova Scotia
8
Chabazite is a rare zeolite species with the best specimens residing on the remote and dangerous cliff side location in Nova Scotia. This specimen of Chabazite was in Rock Currier's personal thumbnail collection for good reason. The bow tie of calcite that lies on the front of the well crystallized Chabazite creates a very aesthetic thumbnail piece. This specimen is 2.1
× 2.0 cm in size, but it is very mighty. I really liked this piece and got a good deal on it. I don't really see this species too often, so I was happy I found this one.
