Calcite (manganese-rich) on calcite, 12 cm, from the Fengjiashan mine, Daye County, Huangshi, Hubei Province, China. No repairs or restorations. One of only six great calcite crystals on matrix found in a pocket in the early 2000s. The refracted matrix is visible through most of the crystal. Ex Bruce Oreck collection.
